Cows trudging through heavy, thick sludge. flies buzzing lazily around their bleary eyes. the ancient gums waving their limbs; whispering their secrets to those who will listen. red dust floats gently in the breeze; coating everything in a thin film of dirt. the river nearby gurgles softly; feeding life to those who drink from it. glittery fish dart in the clear water, dodging the harsh rays of sunlight which bore down on this world. the shadows become longer, the flies and cows quiet down in unison; and the silver moon shines bright in the sky.

When the day has passed, the sun has set; there will be no more time left. when the last shots are fired, the enemies have met; there will be no more time left. When the love has gone, they've paid the debt; there will be no more time left.

I wish a lot. i wish for things i don't have. for things i purely want. big and small things; material items. to make me feel loved, or needed or 'cool' un-necessary things. things i don't really want, fancy clothes, new music, good looks; things to be 'cool' i now realise i don't want them. i just want to be loved for me; no matter what i look like, or how i act. i don't want to put on a performance all day. i just want to be me.... but thats not going to happen..

So tell me. why can't you see the truth lying inside me? why is it so hard to tell that the lies are real?

Bitterness is not a poison, Sweetness is not a cure, heaven is not a place of love, hell is not a place of hate. the world around us spins, to slow for us to notice. but if all these things; stopped, disappeared or left, we would realise.
